Corinna Steeb,
Corinna holds qualification in Medical Sciences (PhD), is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and Certified Professional Manager (AIM). Corinna has held research positions (CRC Tissue Growth and Repair) before changing to a career in business management. Amongst others, her senior management positions include CEO of Nut Producers Australia, COO of Jurlique International and GM Longview Vineyards. Corinna is the founder and Executive Director of Rubys CBS, a small business consultancy that provides executive and project management assistance to private start-ups and small and medium sized businesses. Corinna works across broad industry sectors including food, wine, tourism and beverages, cosmetics/nutroceutical, biotechnology, R&D, agricultural products, manufacturing and production; with vast experience in the development of new ventures, import/export, associated regulatory issues, logistics and transport management, joint venture development as well as R&D, technology transfer and international business development. Corinna has 2 adult children, two grandchildren, one dogs and various other pets and animals and together with husband Frank has lived in the Adelaide Hills for over 20 years. She loves quality organic food, entertaining, gardening, skiing and spending time with family and friends. She is a devoted Adelaide Hills resident and wants to grow the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market into a sustainable and profitable event that will bring social, economic and health benefits to the region.
Deputy Chair
Peter Templer
Peter worked for 30 years as an Air Traffic Controller, including more than 15 years in a range of management roles. After retiring in 2000, he worked as a consultant in career management and also on human factors issues in aviation accidents for the Australian Transport Safety Bureau. Peter lived at Piccadilly for nearly 20 years and, after spending some time in Canberra, now lives at Oakbank. Peter’s community interests include Rotary, including being President of Canberra City Rotary Club and President Elect of the Rotary Club of Onkaparinga, and veteran and vintage vehicle and machinery activities. As well as the Rotary appointments, Peter has held a number of positions with other community organisations. He has been a member of the AHFM Committee since its inception in 2009, and brings a strong history of experience in managing voluntary and community groups. He has family connections with the Adelaide Hills encompassing 4 generations and a passion to see the area grow and prosper while retaining its unique rural character.
Treasurer
Geoff is a long-time hills resident who has been part-time farming for over thirty years at meadows producing cut flowers, sheep, cattle, hay and certified organic vegetable seedlings & potted herbs. Geoff’s day job is at the University of South Australia lecturing to students who become land Valuers & urban property managers and researching rural property issues including farmers markets. Geoff has been a stallholder at farmers market over the last seven years and brings this experience and his research knowledge to the board. Geoff is easy to identify at the market with his barefoot practices. Geoff is supported in the farming operations by his partner Karen and his parents. Geoff currently is a member of the Advisory Board of Agriculture and has served on the Soil Conservation board and Mt Lofty Ranges Catchment Board. Geoff is committed to supporting sustainable agriculture and the sustainable use of agricultural land including smallholdings.
Secretary
Lynley Keynes has operated her own podiatry practice for 35 years since graduating from the University of South Australia in 1977. She has spent 24 years as a volunteer member of the Australian Podiatry Association, 9 years as President. She holds qualification in Association Management (MBA program from University of New England), a Graduate Diploma in Health Counselling, she is an Associate member of the Australian Society of Association Executives and is a Fellow of the AAPSM. Until 2005, she was the Executive Officer of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine for 20 years. From 1996 to 2005 Lynley taught biomechanics and orthotic therapy in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of Podiatry at the University of South Australia. She has lived in the Adelaide Hills since 1977 and moved her practice to Stirling 4 years ago. Since that time she has been a committee member and is now the treasurer of the Stirling Business Association. She has been involved with the setup and bump out of the Stirling Market for 3 years and is the organiser for the Stirling Autumn Garden Festival. She is the Secretary for the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market and in her spare time she likes to be involved in community activities and gardening.

Marc Salver – Adelaide Hills Council
Marc Salver is currently the Director Planning & Development Services at the Adelaide Hills Council where he has been employed for over 6 years. Marc has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Planning and a Diploma in Project Management, and has over 20 years of broad based international experience in urban and regional planning gained in 5 countries around the world, namely South Africa, Swaziland, England, Canada and now Australia. His local government experience commenced when he worked for the Planning Department at the Johannesburg City Council in South Africa where he was Section Head for a development assessment team. He then moved on to Swaziland to take up the position of Director Planning & Community Services at the capital city, Mbabane, a position he held for 6 years. Marc had the responsibility of establishing the City’s first Planning Department to assist with the implementation of the World Bank’s Urban Development Project. He then moved on to the City of Gloucester in England where he headed up a multi-disciplinary team responsible for, amongst other things, the implementation of the Western Waterfront Urban regeneration project which sought to redevelop the docklands with $1.1 billion of major projects. He then moved to Canada where he was Manager of Development Services for almost 2 years before coming to Australia.
Margaret Wilksch – District Council of Mt Barker
Andrew Burdett
Andrew was, for more than 30 years, a partner in leading Adelaide law firm Piper Alderman (formerly Piper Bakewell) before retiring from partnership to join the Commonwealth Bank as its chief solicitor for South Australia and the Northern Territory in 1996. Andrew retired from full-time formal legal practice in 2008 and brings his considerable experience in commercial law to the Legal and Administration sub-committee. Born and bred in Basket Range, of which his great grandparents were original settlers, Andrew owns a horticultural property specialising in Australian and South African native flowers as well as sour cherries. Together with his wife, Meg, Andrew also runs two self-contained, deluxe stay properties at Basket Range. Andrew is passionate about the Adelaide Hills and dedicated to enhancing the profile of the region. Another of Andrew’s passions is cricket, and he is past president of the Country Carnival Cricket Association and the Hills Cricket Association, as well as a life member of the Basket Range Cricket Club.
Tess Minnett
Tess moved to the Adelaide Hills 6 years ago after gaining employment as the coordinator of Duck Flat Community Garden at the Adelaide Hills Community Health Service in Mt. Barker and is still employed in that role. Her background is in developing and demonstrating sustainable environmental and social systems including social and community enterprises, community gardens, Local Energy Transfer Systems, No Interest Loan Schemes, among others. As well, she has travelled widely within Australia, studied architecture and conducted a business in landscape design, construction and maintenance. Tess has also held various positions on a range of not-for-profit organizations including President and Treasurer of a Theatre group and vice President of a Community Development group in Margaret River and Chair of an alternative school in Melbourne. With a keen interest, and past practice, in theatre, the arts and creating opportunities for young people to make supported, informed decisions she brings a wide range of skills to the board as a community representative.
