The Adelaide Hills Farmers Market provides a sustainable and safe, fun market, emphasising the sale of fresh, local produce and subsequent value-added products direct from the producer to the customer.

It provides an environment for the celebration of cultural diversity and education about healthy food choices.

The market is held every Saturday, with trading hours from 8am to 12midday in the TAFE car park behind Auchendorrach off Dumas Street, Mt Barker.

Stallholders are assessed against a qualification to trade matrix which was developed to ensure diversity, availability and legitimacy of source and authenticity of product. This point system determines if a grower or producer can trade at the AHFM.
